Protoss Strategy: Four Gate

by Zilla on 09/01/2010

The Four Gate strategy (one of my favorite) is a simple strategy that capitalizes on poor scouting by your opponent, but its pretty damn effective against just about anything. So if you’re a serious Protoss player, this is a strategy that you definitely need to learn.

Another great video by HDStarCraft.

the zerg scouts one time and his starting unit is roach although he sees cybernetic core. he sees a lot of stalkers and continues to produce roaches. great opponent oO
besides that: pretty basic protoss play, can be scouted and countered with speedling/roach , speedling only, speedling/baneling. but ofc it often works.

Yeah, some opponents are really bad. Thats why this strategy works. Weeds out the good players vs. bad
